Caught My AI

Moving image work where cinema and generative AI meet. Some stories are too fragile, too precious or too surreal to film. Or they simply don't exist yet. With Caught My AI I create cinematic worlds beyond the lens. Not as a replacement of the craft, but as an extension of cinematography. Where traditional production stops at budget or logistics, imagination begins. Cinema without a crew, but with vision.

Proven in production

This is not a future promise. I apply this in professional productions today: hybrid scenes for the IDFA-selected documentary Mohammed & Paul: Once Upon a Time in Tanger, visual development for pilots at the NPO, and high-end teasers for the literary world.

Working together

I work with directors, producers and creative agencies who dare to renew: an "impossible" scene in a documentary, a pitch visualisation, an artistic campaign. Between thought and image is where the magic happens. That's where I work.

The constructed still series live with the photography: Zondagsrust and Toeven. In 2005 I wrote a thesis on reconstructed authenticity, on finding truth through construction. The machine turned that thesis into a daily practice.
