Marc Schmidt's documentary on radical sleep experiences: six "bad sleepers" whose dreams and daily lives are inseparable. We replaced nearly all planned studio reconstructions with location shoots, following the characters to Surinam and Iceland; most of the film was shot by just the two of us.
